The Giver Of Gifts
After worship, I felt the Lord told me to share this with the people present in the meeting.
Moses’ first encounter with Pharaoh was in Exodus 5:1, “Afterward Moses and Aaron went in and told Pharaoh, “Thus says the Lord God of Israel: ‘Let My people go, that they may hold a feast to Me in the wilderness.’” In Chapter 8 and 9, the Lord told Moses to tell Pharaoh to let His people go, that they may serve Him. Finally, after the last plague, Pharaoh drives the Israelites out of his land. In between what had happened, in Chapter 6 holds a promise where the Lord said, “Therefore say to the children of Israel: ‘I am the Lord; I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, I will rescue you from their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great judgments. I will take you as My people, and I will be your God. Then you shall know that I am the Lord your God who brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians. And I will bring you into the land which I swore to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; and I will give it to you as a heritage: I am the Lord.’”
This led us to pray for chains to fall off and bondage to be broken. So that God can come and be their Deliverer as He said He would. A prayed for mercy to change the hearts of the Pharaohs so that His people will be released and the joy of their salvation will return to their hearts. We also prayed that the people will know that it is their Lord God who has brought them out and delivered them from a place of slavery to sonship.
During the meeting, I saw a vision of us seated at a dinner table and we were being served with our meals. Those present at the table each received a premium cut from the Christmas roast that God was preparing for us. God was showing me that He only gives good gifts to those who come to Him. After which, I felt led to read James 1:17, “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.”
I felt the Lord saying to recognize what is of Him and what is not. After which, A prayed for our eyes to be open to see the Giver of gifts, and that God is ready to pour out upon them those good gifts.
