Keep On Sowing
After the time of worship, one person released the word from Colossians 1:16-18 and started to pray for the Lord to take preeminence in all things. She declared that all things were created through Him and for Him. We prayed for God to be honoured and for Him to purify the church. We prayed for men, women, and children with a love for holiness and righteousness to be raised up, who will not compromise. One person also prayed for the marriage covenant to be honoured and for the church to be prepared as a spotless bride when the Lord returns.
2 Kings 13: 18-19 was released and someone felt that the Lord was challenging us to continue to use the tools He has given to us to press in for breakthroughs, even though we may not see results, as the Lord sees. The Lord is calling us to keep striking the ground and sowing seeds. Another person confirmed that the Lord says that a breakthrough is coming, and it is not just something we hear about.
I shared that the word “renewal” has been something upon our hearts this week, and the Lord wants to renew hope, strength and a sense of expectation for God to release something new. I also shared the picture of clay containers of different shapes and sizes which represents our lives. Only when we are molded like these different containers by the potter can we be filled afresh. We continued to contend for renewal and restoration, and prayed Isaiah 40:31 over those in our midst and the churches in Wales. We asked for every form of discouragement to be lifted and that we would be a people who waits on the Lord.
Micah 1:13 was released, and one lady prayed for us to pray prayers that would, be aligned to God’s will. Another person released a song – “the joy of the Lord is our strength” and released Ephesians 6:10-20, praying for each one to be restored to a place of victory and for dreams to be restored among the discouraged. Following this, we went into a time of spontaneous singing as the people were encouraged to look to the Lord and fix their eyes on Him. Psalm 121 – Where does my help come from, it comes from the Lord who made the heaven and earth. Jeremiah 17:7-8, We claimed the promise that those who hope in the Lord would be like trees planted by the water, always drawing from His unlimited supply of fresh water. The presence of the Lord was very evident as we lifted our voices to the Lord and we concluded the meeting singing for His kingdom to come on earth as it is in heaven.
Glory be to God!
