It Is Your Goodness
We began with praying for the Lord’s goodness and blessings to be released and revealed in our lives and over the nation of Wales, especially to those who do not know Jesus, not only in material prosperity but in an intimate fellowship with the Lord. One person thanked the Lord for His mercy that has allowed us to come before Him and for His goodness that leads us to repentance.
Following this, 2 Corinthians 7:10 was released and we prayed for salvation in Wales – “Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.” Isaiah 12:3 was shared by another person, and she prayed for wells of salvation to spring forth again, and that leaders would draw water from the wells, that they would never thirst again and would be replenished and refreshed, and others would see the difference and come to salvation as well.
Psalm 25:6
“Remember O Lord, Your tender mercies
And Your loving kindness, for they are from of old.
Do not remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions;
According to Your mercy remember me,
For Your goodness’ sake, O Lord.”
We continued to contend for the salvation of the people, the Lord’s mercy over the sins of the land and a passion to reach the lost. There was a beautiful sense of unity in prayer, and before the meeting came to a close, we were also led to pray for the Lord to preserve the next generation, that they would come to know the Lord in a personal manner and would grow to walk in righteousness.
