Thrust Forth Your Labourers
Christianity is by far the world’s largest religion. Though Britain has shown a decline in the number of those who profess to be Christians, we know that the Lord is raising up prayer warriors, intercessors, and missionaries who will bring the Gospel to the unsaved. Like in Isaiah 61:1,
“The Spirit of the sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor…”
In this meeting, we prayed for the labourers in the harvest field. We asked the Lord to open the eyes of His labourers to see that the harvest is ripe. We prayed for their willingness to be sent out to the various places that God wants them to go to. We also prayed for their hearts to be ready to receive the call and as they do His work, their hearts will be filled with His joy. We prayed that they would be filled with love and compassion for the lost. Lastly, we prayed for strength to be upon them that they would not grow weary in doing good for in due season, they will surely reap the harvest.
