Shine 2017

We continued to pray for Shine 2017, an outreach event in Swansea which included family activities and open evangelistic meetings, and for the outpouring of His Spirit upon the area. We prayed for people to be touched by the Lord and be drawn to Him as they stepped into the stadium. We prayed especially for the labourers – the speakers, volunteers, and all involved – that they would not lack a word in season to speak to those visiting and that they would be carriers of His presence and His love.

We were also led to speak Isaiah 55:10-11 into being:

“For as the rain comes down,
and the snow from heaven,
and do not return there,
but water the earth,
and make it bring forth and bud,
that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater,
so shall My word be that goes forth from my mouth;
It shall not return to Me void,
but it shall accomplish what I please
and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”
