A Stone For A Foundation
During worship before the meeting, God was speaking to me about His power and glory. I flipped to the verse in 1 Chronicles 29:11,
“Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power and glory, the victory and the majesty; for all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours;..”
That verse became the resounding theme of the meeting. As we prayed, there was a strong sense of the Lord working in our hearts, especially when we released God’s blessing upon Wales. It felt like God was downloading His heart into ours and there was such an openness to pray. Towards the end of the meeting, EL said she saw two words, ‘plumbline’ and ‘cornerstone.’
A directed us to the verse in Isaiah 28:16-17,
‘Therefore thus says the Lord God: “Behold, I lay in Zion a stone for a foundation, a tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation; whoever believes will not act hastily. Also I will make justice the measuring line, and righteousness the plummet; the hail will sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters will overflow the hiding place.”’
We are in a season where God is raising up His standard and aligning His people according to His Word, and we are like stones built on the Chief Cornerstone.
